Just A Day Like Any Other

Today was "Just a day Like Any Other….." I don't mean that in a facetious, redundant, arrogant way.  I just like you…… conquered the day. I worked on several wristlets clutches. This one is designed with some of the beautiful sari trim I found over the weekend….. Spoke with some European connections on 3 different design logos for the bags……… Found some embellishment elements that I cleaned out my L.A. resource on….. and they didn't remember where they purchased them…….. chatted with friends on the many challenges of raising kids….. and had a fabulous dinner. With its many facets of the day I just reminded myself…… "Today Was Just Like Any Other……."

Bags go West.....

We just got back from the West Coast. Lots of new things are in the works. We are very excited about the future of the Royal Hippie Line. Lots of new items were dropped off @ SWAY in Belmont Shores. SWAY now carries my Royal Hippie Fringe Bags.

Bringing it all Together........

This year I only painted one painting, which is a bit strange for me............12 years of pumping out.....to just 1 for the year. Things have changed. However; creativity needs to be kept fresh and alive.......

I've spent the past year focused on hands on creativity..... jewelry, and as you already have seen my new found love for leather. Well...... I'm happy to have come "FULL CIRCLE". I will now be offering limited edition artwork on my one-of-a-kind bags......... I'm currently tagging each run of a bag with a special seal that keeps the bags and the original artwork special..... This encourages the painting level to be raised and the creativity to be challenged.......Stay Tuned!

Today I spent the Day in reflection and meditation. Listening to the current changes that are happening in my life in all areas. A Balanced life has always been shown to be true for my walk no matter the avenue.

This Song Pretty much sums up my happiness for The Artistic Elements I try to bring front and center. Whether it's painting, or designing new works of jewelry It's my center of creativity....

My Focus has been on Jewelry and now I must find a balance... I'm excited about a Local Art show upon the horizon. It's all for the love of what I do.

It's Been A Long Time Baby!

It's Been a while and while I adjust from the crazy Shift in the Earth's Axis.........Lot's of new LOVELY items are heading out for the Local Shops in New Braunfels. New stuff heading to Austin, and L.A. within the next few months. With LOTS of Details. Posting VERY SOON!!!!

Spring Is in the Air

With the change of the weather comes new life. The Gruene Trading company (Formerly Kitchy Chics) launched my new lines with the opening of the New Locale next to The Gruene Hall. If you haven't been there---- GO CHECK IT OUT!!!!! --all I can say is AMAZING!

We revamped Max's Haus as well, and The Darenbak line is a sure fit! I'm so happy with the way things fit so well like a Cinderella slipper.

The 3rd place in New Braunfels that I will be working on and with is 764 West Gallery. I will have a line of Hand painted jewelry that is taking a little more time than I wanted..... but it has to be JUST RIGHT!!!!

I will be on the road in the next few months Heading to Los Angeles to some of my former vendors, In Venice, the Beverly Center, Manhattan Beach, Redondo, and Belmont Shores.... I'm sooooooooo looking forward to this. It's crazy and some of you understand what this even means. After closing the showroom in the California Mart in Los Angeles in 2000, most of you know I never wanted to make jewelry ever again. I Thank all of you vendors, and loyal customers who called me just days before giving birth begging for me to sell whatever I had on hand..... I showed up ready to pop just to fill the request of my handmade items. I will never forget that. The Love that was shown toward my products has revamped my Love of creating..... sample of my newest L.A. bound Baby "Royal Hippie".

For My Etsy customers---- Please just bare with me through revamping the online shop. As you all know, it's so hard to see the pure quality/weight of the items through the computer screen. I'm trying to get the items closer to my L.A. and N.Y. customers! Love ALL you GUYS!!!!!!!!

There are times when I'm M.I.A.--Well.... This has been one of those times. I'm currently working on 3 different lines of Jewelry that will appeal to the various. May I offer to you:

Line #1--- Darenbak

I have to give ALL credit to my wonderful husband that came up with the name. This is a repurposed line of AMAZING up cycled vintage one of a kind pieces. The name of the line comes from "there and back" encase you didn't get it...... This will be a vintage line with the most unique pieces that I can come across.

Line #2 Conspicuous Gypsy-

From the ends to the ends of Bohemian, Tribal, and YES Ethral!!!!!!

Line #3 Royal Hippie-

I LOVE this Oxymoron.- Refined but not confined. Both or are over the top in so many ways. But if you mesh them together.... Something wonderful happens. This line is made with bits of royal pieces that are found here and there. Most of the line will be 24kt-14k gold vermeil.

All 3 lines will carry high quality semi-precious stones, Leather, vintage pieces. I hope you'll enjoy them as much as I have making them!

New Series

I'm currently working on a new circulation for an in house artist position. I'm CRAZY excited over this. More details are soon to come..... This is going to be an on going project with infinite possibilities!!!!!!!!!!!

Feeling Alive

It is AMAZING when you do things to re-vamp your Mind, Body, Soul and Spirit. You begin to understand the responsible possibilities that have been placed before you. A purpose that maybe you never saw before....a re-birth of self that is LONG overdue.... I recently placed my mind, and Body, and Spirit on a Detox.....just literately dumping "waste"..... Wasted time, energy, and directions that I can now just place aside. My focus is on my soul purpose of why God created me.... I have my inclinations.... but I'm sure I'm on a journey.

What I didn't understand yesterday...... today is a breath of fresh air.
